From our humble beginnings in 1994, Pearl Dental Ceramics have come along way and have gone from strength to strength every year. Here you can map our journey and see our progression over the last 25 years.

2020 – Addition of new formlabs 3D printer and new emax press furnace.

2019 – Instillation of new state of the art milling machine.

2018 – New area created for our ‘In Lab’ shade taking service.

2017 – Introduction and accreditation of Trios and iTero digital systems.

2016 – Installation of second scanner and e.max Cad/Cam.

2015 – Achieved DAMAS accreditation.

2014 – Became a British Bitemark accredited laboratory.

2013 – All technicians complete 5 year CPD cycle.

2012 – ‘ZR Advance’ added to our range of all ceramic restorations.

2011 – Two more of Pearl Dental’s technicians become fully qualified by achieving a BTEC National Diploma in Dental Technology to Merit and triple Distinction standards.

2010 – Atlantis abutments are added to our extensive range of implant systems. Pearl Dental are also approved and certified as ZrSpeed laboratory.

2009 – Partner Martin Pugh certified as Straumann Platinum Implant Technician.

2008 – All technicians become G.D.C registered.

2007 – Implemented pressable ceramic system.

2006 – Launch of company’s new web site on World Wide Web. Also, staff attendance at Skillbond’s advanced model making and articulation course.

2005 – Company received accreditation from 3M ESPE to produce Lava crowns and bridges.Staff attendance on 2 day hands-on course in the Astra Implant System.

2004 – Staff attendance at Birmingham Dental Hospital to take part in the Sticktech course presented by Glynn Thomas. Company also adopted the D.L.A’s code of practice.

2003 – Pearl Dental host an in-house advanced ceramics course with tuition from Schottlander’s top ceramist, Maurice King

2003 – Company invested in professional laboratory furniture/benching to ensure best environment to produce restorations of the highest standard.

2002 – Company able to offer Noble Biocare (replace and select) implant systems.

2001 – Company became an In-Ceram approved lab.

2000 – Company moved to new premises in Stourport on Severn, Worcestershire.

1999 – Staff attended Straumann hands-on implant courses and achieved accreditation.

1998 – Company invested in the Duceragold system and held our first seminar.

1996 – Company achieved Medical Devices Directive (M.D.D No. CA00503)

1994 – Pearl Dental Ceramics started and premises acquired in Droitwich Spa. Joined D.L.A & D.T.E.A.B (now D.T.A)
